I like sitting in the office counting sticks and buckets and boxes about as much as I enjoy waiting in line at the airport. But it’s the beginning of everything. It’s the “forecast”, as George Weissgerber points up in this JLC article on a “tool” I’ve come to fall in love with over the years: A spreadsheet.
I don’t want to go too far off the tool reservation, mostly because my eyes glaze over when it gets too business-y or click-y, but I think Weissgerber lands on some common-sense points that don’t require you to take a course in Spreadsheet Dynamics (assuming there is such a thing). Check it out.
