Hard Hat History: Happy Birthday

Even if you don’t wear hard hats, this is a cool look into our collective history. From its humble beginnings, the goal of the hard hat—which saw primary action on the Hoover Dam and Golden Gate Bridge builds—was to combine safety and protection with comfort, as it still is on this 100^th anniversary of E. W. Bullard’s invention. And it bears remarkable similarity to the new Ergodyne beanie hat with “bump cap.” What’s past is prologue.
