Makita Cordless Track Saw

If you are in the market for a track saw, you might want to check out Makita’s new cordless version, especially if you are already on the Makita 18V platform. After using the X2 LXT 6 1/2-in. for a couple of months, Tools of the Trade reviewer Reeves Courtney, a carpenter living in upstate New York, found that the saw cut smoothly and accurately and had enough power and runtime to justify switching from corded to cordless. The saw also works with Festool tracks.
