I’m personally allergic to paint.
OK, maybe “allergic” is too strong, but it’s not my favorite.
Still, I do it. I get to keep the money instead of being disappointed in someone else’s work or their disregard for the schedule. My jobs are small enough—and not all of them require paint—that I can generally do the drywall and paint and it makes sense for everybody involved.
But, probably like many of you, I basically taught myself, which has left me a B+ on a good day.
