Earlier this month JLC and Tools of the Trade visited the STAFDA show – a conference and expo for mom-and-pop-style contractor supply houses (who, it’s worth noting, seem to be holding their own against big box stores in this economy). One of the new tools introduced by was a new addition to its Trueview line of portable job site lighting. This latest model based on Milwaukee’s M18 battery platform includes a folding stand that adjusts to a height of four to seven feet. The stand is relatively stable due to the battery, which sits at the very base, providing the rig with a low center of gravity.
