Every month, PDB polls its readers on a different deck-related topic (you can read the results of past surveys by clicking here). In our inaugural January 2019 survey, when we asked if deck builders built decks that were perfectly level, or instead pitched them to provide positive drainage away from the house, a slight majority (110 vs. 96) said that their decks are built so that they are level.
