UPDATE: In a Facebook post, Barrie, Ontario builder Jesse MacKay reports that his company teamed up with a couple of other builders to step in and give this story a happy ending. They removed the disaster deck and built a safe new one using materials donated by a couple of local lumberyards. That’s a great story!
