Now that the school year has begun, it’s time to prepare for fall’s next, and possibly its greatest, event: Halloween. Stores are already stocking polyester costumes and tons of chocolate, lollipops, and bubble gum. Pumpkin patches are growing and corn mazes are cropping up across the nation.

Last year, our sister brand, Replacement Contractor, detailed some of its scariest stories in the industry. Here at Remodeling, we would like to continue the tradition and round up some of your creepiest stories from the remodeling process. Did you ever have a ghostly encounter when converting an attic? Did you find something ghastly in the walls? Did you have a rather ghoulish encounter with one of your clients?

Leave your stories in the comments below or email them to Marisa Mendez at mmendez@hanleywood.com.
