Construction Dispute Takes a Deadly Turn

In early 2016, remodeler Daniel Jamison was hired to do a $41,000 home remodeling job, according to a chilling story in The Washington Post. After reportedly completing one-third of the work, he vanished, prompting homeowner Stephen Mann to charge him with construction fraud. Instead of going back to finish the job, Jamison decided to take a different route and tried to hire a hit man to kill Mann. Unfortunately for Jamison, the hit man turned out to be a Fairfax County police officer, who recorded the negotiation on video. Talk about a bad review.
