How to Make a Large Table Saw Sled

If you watch this four-minute video by Frank Howarth you’ll know all you need to know to make a nice cross-cutting sled for your table saw.

The instructions are very straight forward; the only thing missing is a reminder that the piece used for the stop (what I would call the fence) must be absolutely straight. The hold-down clamp and handle are nice touches and I like the trick for determining if the stop is perfectly square to the blade.
