You are who the shirt says you are – and these guys are masons.
So I was at the World of Concrete (WOC), looking at machinery, talking to tool manufacturers, and taking in the sights, and what do you know, I find myself photographing T-shirts, worn mostly by folks at the SPEC MIX BRICKLAYER 500. The Bricklayer 500 is the premier event of the show, a contest in which 20 masons lay as much brick as they can in an hour. The winner receives cash and prizes, including a Ford pickup. More on the bricklaying contest later; for now, it’s about the T-shirts.
