Nashville, Tenn., carpenter Ken Hoskins spent several months using the Makita XSL06PT cordless dual-bevel sliding compound miter saw, and came away impressed. Hoskins liked the saw’s compact footprint, which allows it to be placed flush against a wall without losing any slide range. He also found it to be accurate (after initial adjustment) and as powerful as its corded counterparts. Check out his full review here at Tools of the Trade.
