Jobsite Review: Hitachi C10RJ Table Saw

1 MIN READ

If you are looking to upgrade your portable jobsite table saw, it seems like there are a lot of options lately. One model that sounds worthy of consideration is Hitachi’s new C10RJ 10-inch saw, if only because it currently has the largest rip capacity of any comparable saw on the market–35 inches. PDB contributor (and former Fine Homebuilding senior editor) Chuck Bickford has been using it for a couple of months now on a number of projects and just filed his report over at Tools of the Trade. The short version? An accurate saw with plenty of power and several nice features, including soft start and an electronic blade brake. At around $400, it’s a good value, too.
