Stair Stringers Done Right

Whether intended for an elegant interior staircase or a set of exterior steps leading up to a porch or a deck, all stairs start out with some basic calculations about rise and run. After a few adjustments to account for framing and site conditions, it’s then time to lay out and cut the stringers.
