Hang Sheet Goods Alone Thanks to Rokk Tools

1 MIN READ

At the JLC Live show in Providence, RI last week we came across a pretty ingenious device that is sure to be a hit with remodelers, framers, and drywall installers alike. The Wood ROKKpro tool, which is a simple yet carefully engineered device, locks onto wall studs or ceiling joists with a turn of the wrist via two clamps – one fixed, the other slides out to 35″. Once locked in, the user can set the bottom edge of a sheet of drywall on it, or sheathing. It can also be used for hanging drywall on the ceiling. Made in the USA of aluminum, it weighs only 12 lbs. and retails online for $429. Check out the video below to see how the tool works. We’ll be reviewing this device with drywall contractor and JLC contributor Myron Ferguson.
